The World Health Summit is one of the world’s leading strategic forums for global health. Held annually in Berlin, it brings together leaders from politics, science and medicine, the private sector, and civil society to set the agenda for a healthier future.

This event will launch ILC-UK's research findings on the health and productivity burden of preventable diseases in later life and focus on the need to implement preventative health interventions across the life course.

On July 9-10, 2019, the Government of Finland and the Global Coalition on Aging convened the first-ever Silver Economy Forum for government and business leaders. Following the success of the Helsinki Silver Economy Forum, GCOA was invited to bring the issues highlighted in the Silver Economy Forum to the annual World Summit on the Information Society 2020, followed by other global SEF convenings around the world.
