New Report Connects Healthy Ageing to Economic Growth, Calling on G20 Leaders to Look to Vaccine Policy as a Critical Lever

The report connects economic growth and fiscal sustainability to healthy ageing and preventive healthcare measures, and points, in particular, to vaccines for adults as a key strategy.

De Blasio Administration Announces Reseating of the Age-Friendly NYC Commission

NEW YORK (July 23, 2019) – The de Blasio Administration, in partnership with the New York City Council and the New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM), announces the appointment of 18 new Age-friendly NYC Commission members, complementing 28 reseated members. The Commission is comprised of leaders from government, nonprofit, business, education, and health care.

High-Level Forum on the Silver Economy Announces Bayer AG as Strategic Partner

New York, NY (July 3, 2019) – The Global Coalition on Aging (GCOA), the global business voice on aging, and the Finnish EU Council Presidency, which commences in July 2019, have joined together to organize the High-Level Forum on the Silver Economy. It is the first-ever conference focused on business and government leadership, on a global basis, to reimagine aging. The Forum will take place in Helsinki, Finland, on July 9-10 at the iconic Finlandia Hall.
